After years of work with my Hungry Hearted project, I became involved writing for SXSW Music, Austin Monthly, Covert Curiosity, and Austinist. Since 2010, I’ve hosted an informal potluck series called Sunday Suppers, which has steadily evolved into a monthly soiree centralized around a theme or ingredient challenge, often paired with a backyard movie screening or activity. In 2011, I organized an unofficial SXSW party. In 2012, my boyfriend and I launched HOMEGRAIN, a side project making chalkboards with reclaimed wood for custom orders.
